Visitors: none
Approval of Minutes: Melanie sent out on 7/12/2022, brad makes motion to approve, Dave seconds,
motion passed
Treasurers Report: Brenda sent out on 7/12/2022, chip will get details from Brenda about fees line of
approximately $3,000 charge, brad motions to approve, Jay seconds, motion passed
New Business:
 “furnish a new ramp for wheelchair access for over the curb to the area that some groups use for
break off meeting”- brought up by Dave, topic isn’t valid due to below motion that passed
 Groups meeting outside and using profanity, Chip makes motion to not allow any meeting/group
to meet outside on church property (similar to smoking rule), Dave seconds, discussion happens,
motion passes, Chris will notify via email, letter in mailboxes, posting notice on the door
Status Updates:
 Website- Jay was going to see if he can get help- Chris started working on getting all information
for the website, Diane is working on history of the Alano, Chris estimates 4-6 weeks until we
have a beta site
Old Business:
 Alano BBQ planning- research will be done on commercial-grade tent for BBQ (approximately
10×20 size)
 Voted via email to approve $2,500 to hire 3 rd party to work on the website

Introductions: Melanie, Chris, Jay, Chip, Dave, Diane

Visitors: Janice

Approval of Minutes: Chip makes a motion, Diane seconds, minutes approved

Treasurer’s Report: Diane gives report, “doing absolutely fantastic financially”, Jay makes motion to approve, Dave seconds, motion approved

New Business:

• Alano cleaning schedule- Chris will make 2022-2023 cleaning schedule and send out to groups
• Gopher state results- spent less than expected, Dave will send email/tell Ashton and Kate for their leadership
• Parking lot resurfacing- June 16th will be milled, June 17th and 18th will be paved. June 19th will be done/ready to park on again. June 20th will have the 2nd layer done.

Status Updates:

• Website- Jay will ask wife about helping edit the site
• New business cards order- completed
• Proposal to discuss bringing potlucks back monthly- Chris is working on it
• Tornado plan- middle of hallway
• Summer BBQ July 31^st planning- Dave makes a motion to change the date to Sunday August 7th, Chip seconds, motion approved, Janice will run planning committee, Jay motions to have same budget as last year, Chip seconds, budget motion approved
• there will be a lock placed on compost bin

Approval of Minutes: sent out by Chris- dave makes a motion to approve, chip 2nd, approved
Treasurers Report: sent out by Brenda- brad motions to approve, dave 2nd, approved
New Business:
• Proposal to discuss bringing potlucks back monthly- Chris will start by sending out emails to group leaders to get feedback and ideas
• Summer BBQ- July 31st date proposed, Dave makes motion, Diane 2nd, approved for BBQ on July 31st, 2022
• Do we have a tornado plan- Dave will go to the church for further information
• Putting garbage in the compost bin- Dave will evaluate solutions
Status Updates:
• Website- Melanie has no resources to help, Dave will reach out to someone for help
• Gopher State planning- board approved $750 allocated for Gopher State, raised approximately $400 so far. Men at work is hosting the room and providing food Friday night 5-9pm, Diane in charge of Saturday lunch, Chris to provide morning pastries for Saturday and Sunday,
o Motion to approve $500 for Gopher State by Brad, Dave 2nd, approved
• Outdoor picnic table purchase and old picnic table disposal- no solid update yet
• New business cards order- no updates
